🛠️ Career Strategy
I fought my publisher for you ⚔️ Grab The Invisible Advantage for $19
As you might know, the pre-order for my upcoming book The Invisible Advantage is happening this month.
My publisher was adamant about selling signed paper copies, but I felt people would be more interested in ebooks. So I kept pushing them (while on my honeymoon!) to get the ebook option ready on the pre-sale website.
And it’s finally here! You can grab the ebook at this link: https://books.manuscripts.com/product/the-invisible-advantage/
🤖 AI Tactic
So… ChatGPT-5 kinda sucks. Here’s how to get the old models back.
About 2 weeks ago, OpenAI released its new foundation model, ChatGPT-5. We expected greatness… but customer feedback was awful.
So in lieu of a prompt, I thought I’d share a guide on how to get the old models back!
A quick disclaimer: this will only work for people on paid ChatGPT plans.
Here’s the process:
Navigate to https://chatgpt.com/#settings
Under “General”, toggle on “Show additional models”
Refresh your page
Open a new chat
Go to the model switcher, then “Legacy models”
You should see 4o, o3, and your other favorite models from before the update 🙌

Here’s what it should look like.
🧠 Curiosity Corner
Looking for beta testers for my new app, Pensieve!
I’ve created an app called Pensieve, a Chrome extension that can take videos, screenshots, voice notes, highlights, and more from across the web - allowing you to save and organize your knowledge.
It surfaces this knowledge so you can remember it more easily, as well as share it with others.
It also has quality of life features to make using the internet fast and easy:
Create short links to sites you use frequently (e.g. instead of typing in salesforce.com/xyz123 to go to your sales dashboard, you can just say to/crm)
Shortcuts for text you use often (e.g. if you use the same prompts in ChatGPT to customize your resume for example, you can just type _updateresume)
It could be a lot better, but that’s why I need your help and feedback!
💼 Job Board
3 opportunities to earn $200k+
Here are the 3 most interesting remote job openings I’ve seen this week:
If you want the jobs, please sign up for the newsletter :)
That’s it for this week.
